About Me

Prayer is music to God's ears.
We have come to the end of dissecting THE PRAYER.
I call it the Crescendo.
If this were a musical piece, every part of the orchestra would play until the entire room stood with thunderous applause.
As we complete the prayer, we celebrate the love, power, majesty, and glory of God.
God's greatest Commandment
And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’  The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these. (Mark 12:30-31)

Living in unconditional love calls for THE PRAYER.  We cannot love God or others without the power of The Holy Spirit working with Scripture, to perform the spiritual surgery we need.

The cancer of sin goes deep, but the Word goes deeper.

God will replace the sin with a supernatural love, love that draws people to us so we can point them to the lover of their soul. Jesus Christ.

Let's join the orchestra in a crescendo of praise.

All Definitions are adapted from  BLUE LETTER BIBLE

Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to Him be glory in the Church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. AMEN! (Ephesians 3:20)

Him who is able- Dynamai: have power whether by virtue of one's own ability and resources
Far more-hyperekperissou: beyond measure, exceedingly
More Abundantly- hyper:  above, beyond, superior to, more than
Power-dynamis:  miraculous power,  strength, violence, mighty (wonderful) work
Works-  energeĊ: to be active, efficient, do, effectual, fervent, be mighty in, shew forth self

Over the last few months of praying THE PRAYER, I have witnessed God's supernatural power at work.

I have seen frowns turned upside down (my son's words),
anger melt away by the knowledge of God's love,
and pride cower at the holiness of God.
The mighty power of God, the One who created the Universe is at work in you and me.
Meditate on His power which:
Parted the Red Sea
Saved Noah and his family from the flood
Wiped out Sodom & Gomorrah
Open up the ground and swallowed up the disobedient
Tore down the wall of Jericho
Fed the 5,000
Healed the blind, lame and mute
Changed the heart of Saul from hate to love
Saved a wretch like me...

God still performs mighty works.
Pray THE PRAYER with me and Believe.

O Lord GOD, you have only begun to show your servant your greatness and your mighty hand. For what god is there in heaven or on earth who can do such works and mighty acts as yours? (Deuteronomy 3:24)

Have you seen a change by praying THE PRAYER

  7. Cherrilynn, I especially love Ephesians 3:20 in this prayer. We tend to forget His great power and that He can do abundantly beyond all we ask or think. Thanks for taking us through this prayer!
