Fulfilled Prophecy Friday Abrahamic Covenant

While living in Honduras to help a missionary doctor, the town lost power. I looked to the heavens as I walked the dusty street to Bible study. The stars pierced the sky and I was reminded of God's covenant with Abraham. "Your descendants will be as numerous as the stars."
We studied the book of John by candlelight, we took turns reading verses.  I read Chapter 8 vs 12  As I declared the word "Light," all the lights came on. We all cheered. I got the Holy Ghost goose bumps. The verse?
"I AM the light of the World," Jesus said.
One of the ladies committed her life to Christ that night.
In that little town in Honduras, God continues to fulfill his covenant with Abraham by shedding the light of the Gospel in the darkest places.
